FAQ

Questions about this service

What is included in ongoing ecommerce support?

Support typically includes maintenance, bug fixes, performance work, small features, integrations, platform updates and technical advice. The exact scope, response time and availability are agreed before the engagement begins so expectations are clear. We do not promise 24/7 emergency coverage unless explicitly contracted.

Can you work with an existing codebase?

Yes. We work with existing themes, plugins and custom code, documenting risks and dependencies before making changes. We prefer small, reversible improvements over large rewrites unless the current system is no longer supportable. This protects the investment already made in the store where possible.

How are development requests prioritized?

We agree priorities with you based on business impact, technical risk and dependencies, then schedule work accordingly. Urgent issues are handled within the agreed response arrangement; anything outside that scope is discussed before work starts. This keeps the backlog transparent and manageable for both sides.

Do you provide emergency support?

We provide urgent issue response when it is covered by the agreed support arrangement; scope and availability are defined before work begins. We do not claim 24/7 availability or guaranteed resolution times unless explicitly contracted. Emergencies are handled through the channels agreed with you in advance.

Can you support both WooCommerce and Shopify?

Yes. We support stores on WooCommerce, Shopify and Shopify Plus. The approach is adapted to the platform, the existing codebase and the goals of the engagement, so work stays relevant regardless of stack. We do not require a specific platform to begin support with you.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Commercial terms, including any minimum commitment, billing rhythm and response arrangement, are agreed before work begins based on scope and response needs. We do not impose standard terms without discussing them with you first. This ensures the arrangement fits your actual situation for both sides.
