Overview
Product Page QA by E-FRAME is a Chrome extension that checks selected information on the page you choose to analyze. The analysis runs locally in your browser.
Information accessed
When you click ‘Check this page’, the extension reads the current page URL, document title, selected metadata, H1 headings, image attributes and loading state, JSON-LD scripts, indicators of Product microdata or RDFa, and Open Graph tags.
It does not intentionally read form field values, cookies, browser history, localStorage, or account information. It does not inspect iframe content or closed shadow roots.
How information is used
The information is used only to generate the report you requested. Page content and analysis results are not transmitted to E-FRAME or external services.
Results remain in the memory of the open extension popup and are discarded when the popup closes. The extension does not maintain a history of checked pages.
Reports and clipboard
When you click ‘Copy report’, the extension writes the report to your clipboard. The report includes the checked page URL and selected findings. Any subsequent sharing of that report is controlled by you.
Permissions
activeTab provides temporary access to the current tab when you invoke the extension.
scripting allows the extension to read the selected page information needed for the check.
The extension does not request persistent access to all websites.
Analytics and sharing
The extension has no analytics, advertising, account system, or server component. E-FRAME does not sell or share page information obtained through the extension.
External links
The extension includes links to e-frame.us. Those pages open only when you click a link. Visits to the website are governed by the website’s own privacy policy.
Changes
We may update this policy when the extension’s functionality changes. The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
